The Ohio Craft Brewers Association is hosting our third annual Celebration of Women in Ohio Craft Beer at Midtown Collaboration Center in Cleveland on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. Any and all craft beer fans who wish to support women in the brewing industry and enjoy creative, tasty beers are welcome to attend.
This year's event — dubbed Brewing HERstory — features remarks by Tara Nurin, author of "A Woman's Place Is in the Brewhouse: A Forgotten History of Alewives, Brewsters, Witches and CEOs."
The event is intended to be an interactive, intersectional and inclusive event to celebrate women and femme folks in the craft brewing industry. We will be communing over the women-brewed beers created around the state for International Women’s Day. There is such a strong feeling of support and fellowship at our annual brew days that occur around the state, that we wanted to create an event that celebrates the unity and strength of women in the craft beer space.
This event will spotlight women in the industry and bring awareness to the opportunities that exist for women in craft beer. We will recognize the talent and creativity that exists and the opportunities available for women and female-identified individuals in the craft beer industry.
Brewing HERstory is a fundraiser for the Ohio Craft Brewers Association’s diversity scholarship program, created to offer formal brewing education assistance to people underrepresented in the industry.
You must be at least 21 years of age to attend. You must show ID at the door for entry.
Tickets are transferable, but not refundable.
